Get to know the role: The Head of Strategy plays a central role in defining and executing our organization's strategic vision. This leadership position entails strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and assisting senior executives in developing and implementing business strategies. The role necessitates exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to translate strategy into actionable plans. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning efforts, ensuring the successful execution of cross-functional projects by defining and monitoring key milestones and budgets
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders to influence the company's direction by formulating and driving business strategies
- Offer data-driven insights and practical guidance to assist cross-functional teams in resolving challenges
- Develop short-term and long-term performance objectives, aligning them with strategic goals in close cooperation with department heads
- Partner with leadership to effectively communicate organizational objectives to both internal and external stakeholders, fostering comprehension and support
- Conduct regular assessments and updates of the corporate strategy to maintain alignment with management expectations, industry trends, and evolving requirements
- 4 - 8 years of experience at top tier strategy, management consultancy, or investment banking firm
- Strong academic track record
- Strong background in strategic thinking, analytics & demonstrated ability to problem solve
- Experience with hands-on engagement, strong interpersonal / influencing skills
- Convincing executive presence, solid spoken and written communication skills including executive level communication / slides
- Able to work independently and in teams
- At least 6-8 years of working experience. Prior experience in financial services or banking preferred
- Strong team player with a can-do attitude, rolling up your sleeves and being adaptable and flexible - grit is a characteristic well-valued
- Highly comfortable and able to context switch and perform in a semi-structured, dynamic, fast-paced environment
- A self-starter and independent learner who takes the initiative to challenge the status quo
