Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects. General Purpose of Role : Responsible for recruiting, screening, and interviewing of potential employees. Works with a variety of sources both external and internal sources to find the best candidates for open positions. Works with hiring managers to determine the required skills and experience for the position. Prepares job offers and assists in compensation negotiations. Able to identify and define issues, collaborate where needed and provide empathetic and solution based consultative advice based on best practice fit client situations. Develop a commercial acumen understanding the impact of role on business. Must be flexible, deal with ambiguity, manage changing priorities, and be open to personal and business changes. Responsibilities

  • Deliver efficient client focused and cost-effective talent acquisition solutions as required to support the Worley business.
  • Responsible for staffing major projects to meet the needs of the business.
  • Ensure the agreed and proper Talent Acquisition (TA) process is followed consistently, in accordance with the Company’s quality standards, polices and processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the needs of the business are met in a timely manner.
  • Develop talent pools of suitably experienced and qualified candidates.
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
  • Collaborate effectively with other TA teams in the region and the Hub.
  • Contribute to cost control by adopting and recommending practices which minimize expenditure without compromising results.
  • Provide regular TA status reports to the stakeholders.
  • Manage the flow of communication between new/potential recruits and the relevant contacts within the organization.
  • Coordinate with location/regional functional leads to collaborate effectively and share knowledge and resources where appropriate.
  • Liaise/supervise outside agencies to source potential recruits when required.
  • Participate in career fairs and other talent acquisition related events as required.
Skills/Experience Required for the role :
  • Extensive experience in the recruitment field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources , Psychology, or related fields
  • Experience of staffing up major projectsUniversity Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Typically, 7+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience preferably within the Engineering/Hydrocarbons/ Oil & Gas/Construction industry
  • Experience of resourcing industry search and selection techniques
  • Prior experience of running social media campaigns
  • Experience of recruiting within the relevant location and regional markets
Critical to the role :
  • A high level of diplomacy and tact
  • Strong understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong ability to Inform and persuade on complex matters through preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and reports, as well as collaboration with stakeholders and management.
  • Works with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance. Broad duties assigned at beginning of projects. Work is assigned in terms of objectives, relative priorities, and critical areas that impinge on work of other units. Work is reviewed to ensure policy conformity and soundness of approach. Informed guidance is available.
  • Able to work independently and use initiative.

  • An understanding of the Engineering Services resourcing market
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Able to think and act strategically.
