About the job
- Understanding project objective and provide cost effective solutions to the design team
- Ensuring the designs are feasible and within the shared budget
- Developing layout/overlay plan with CAD designer
- Preparing & reviewing technical drawings
- Creating detailed BOQ for costing
- Creating budgets for pitches
- Attending site visits and preparing venue assessment reports
- Attending internal and client meetings
- Sharing meeting minutes
- Supplier liaison & management
- Ensuring quality control during build and install
- Sourcing and managing equipment/event rentals
- Third party certification (stability & Engineering tests )
- Developing 3rd party documentation (method statement, risk assessment, supplier Insurances and liability forms)
Requirements
- Previous experience of large-scale events of AED5M+
- Min 5 years’ event management experience in the UAE
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Process driven
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the managerial position in the events industry
- Production and technical expertise
- Experience of organizing complex events
