Business Function Our internal Group Audit team is an independent, objective assurance and consulting function designed to add value to and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. This role encompasses dealing with teams across the DBS network with the IBG, RMG Credit, IBG Ops, L&C, Finance and HR teams and also works closely with the Credit Risk Review, GTS and other functional & location audit teams. Executives will also work closely with the MD and other Functional Audit Heads on the specific relevant projects. Responsibilities: Performance Management & Planning

  • Lead Group Audit strategic planning activities and ensure alignment across the region
  • Lead & execute annual budgeting exercise; work closely with Finance & HR to manage Group Audit's resources & expenses
  • Drive high audit performance through development, implementation and tracking of scorecard
  • Organise regular management meeting and preparation for business reviews
  • Develop control towers and dashboards to achieve Group Audit's strategic goals around planning, project execution and reporting
Management Reporting & Communication
  • Prepare and ensure quality and timely submission of presentation materials, reports and plans to Audit Management, Directors, Regulators and relevant stakeholders
  • Provide oversight of quarterly AC reporting and regular management review/discussion over progress of the audit plan execution
  • Provide oversight of MIS & data management (i.e. data extraction and support to Group Audit teams) ensuring meaningful insights, data quality and consistency in reporting
  • Oversee GA's communication to external and or regulatory queries to improve audit engagement with stakeholders
Drive people, leadership & culture agenda
  • Participate in Bankwide Employee Experience (EX) forums & support group initiatives
  • Drive Group Audit's employee initiatives around learning/development, employee engagement and leadership etc.
  • Act as our people champion and work with various teams to dial up on staff communication esp around wellbeing, workload, workspace and other EX pillars
Change management & other strategic projects
  • Manage Audit's Change Management program, working closely with project execution team
  • Maintain pulse check & refine plan as necessary to maintain alignment across Group Audit
  • Work closely with various teams to shape Audit's transformation journey and identify process improvement opportunities
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of working experience in banking / financial / consulting industry.
  • Degree in Finance or Business
  • Strong MIS reporting skills and experience in financial/budget process
  • Able to distill through numerous details and data to highlight key issues / trends to business for decision making
  • Strong project management, organizing skills and communication / presentation / negotiation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools and other presentation tools
