Business Function The position sits within the IBG1 - Financial Institutions Group ( FIG ), Non-Bank Financial Services ( NBFS ) team which manages a portfolio of clients including fintechs, credit card companies, financial leasing companies, and securitisers. The candidate will work with senior relationship managers and internal partners (e.g. product, back & middle office colleagues, etc) to service new-to-bank and existing corporate clients. Responsibilities

  • This role entails working closely with senior relationship managers and internal partners to deliver a high level of service to new & existing corporate customers and ensure a joyful customer experience.
  • Candidate will need to regularly work with internal stakeholders (e.g. product, middle office, operation, etc) for the purposes of addressing customer enquiries and/or problem resolution.
  • Attend to calls from internal and external clients on their queries and proactively render assistance.
  • Assist in preparing letters of offer / variation letters and follow up on documentation and limit activation
  • Handle FATCA/CRS Review, Trigger Event Review and CDDs on a timely basis.
  • Perform "morning action" duties such as seeking Relationship Managers / Team Lead for approval to accommodate clients' current account excesses or other transactional exceptions.
  • Follow up on submission of clients' financials for spreading and assisting the Relationship Managers in preparing the necessary documents for credit review.
  • Other ad hoc duties may include helping to prepare sales & marketing materials, acting as team coordinator for events, assisting relationship managers with internal presentations, supporting other administrative matters which may be required.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma holder, with at least 1 year of relevant working experience in a banking environment.
  • Familiar with corporate banking and related products, ideal candidate will have a good understanding of cash management products / services.
  • Candidate should be meticulous, well organised, be able to multi-task and good at tracking and following up on outstanding matters.
  • Must be able to work independently but also be comfortable working in a team environment and liaising both with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Minimally must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word, ideal candidate will also be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
