About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Process Trade Finance transactions such as Import Financing, Bankers Acceptances, Bank Guarantee, Documentary Collection, etc.
• Ensure handling of shipping documents and all trade financing are in compliance with policies, rules, guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and Service Level Agreements
• Ensure care and due diligence is exercised on day to day operational matters in relation to AML/CFT procedures
• Attend to queries from internal & external customers
• Acquire relevant knowledge and training while performing the day to day operations thus providing support and advisory, when required
• Handle ad hoc duties as and when assigned by Team Leader/Management

Job Requirements

• Process and approve (where authorized) relevant transactions guided by the operating procedures and standards set.
• Ensure that the processing turnaround standards are achieved and that transactions are processed accurately and correctly.
• Ensure awareness and full compliance of all laid down rules, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices and code of conduct imposed by the organization.
