Responsibilites: The Head of Assurance will be responsible for the development and delivery of the annual work plan, stakeholder relationships, and strategy for uplift of assurance. You will provide independent assurance to the Chief Executive and governing bodies and also be responsible for the development and implementation of internal audit and assurance plans. The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated ability to work in a large, complex environment.
- Proven track record in building the profile of assurance and influencing across the business.
- Experience dealing with executive levels and addressing areas of non-performance.
- Technical strength coupled with strategic thinking.
- Expertise in best practice risk and assurance practices, frameworks, and business improvement strategies.
- A demonstrated ability to lead a successful team.
