ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Review Project design drawing, BOQ, and specifications. • Prepare technical & financial comparison and assessments. • Prepare Material submittals. • Prepare Tendering & Pricing. • Prepare for approval all mechanical shop drawings, material submittals based on project specifications, corresponding codes, and distribute them to concerned parties. • Coordinate with all departments. • Prepare all quantity surveys for all systems and issue all the corresponding PO`s. • Prepare and follow-up the RFI`s. • Prepare and follow-up the documentation for claims and variation orders. • Provide technical support to the engineering team in executive projects. • Investigate technical aspects and the root cause of problems. • Prepare all as-built drawings for all mechanical systems based on- site installations. • Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people, and operatives. • Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity • surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project. • Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by- laws. • Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors • Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities to meet agreed deadlines. • I am overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site. • I am preparing reports as required. • I am resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. • Quality Management, maintain all the document, Maintain, and follow the safety procedure, maintain the Company rules and policy. • Project coordination: Leading meeting with the client /consultant and report on progress to date, arranging inspection with consultant/client, daily follow up work progress coordination engineers/ supervisors. • Study the project deeply, work programme project cost, Allocate the manpower to serve the project team, Review the drawings and design as per spec, Review and monitor the project in depth, Advising and guiding site engineers/supervisor/ subcontractor designers and operatives with work on project. Ensure the mechanical installation work quality and survey. Invoice preparation and payment follow up, handing over document preparation, Complete the project as per the project time schedule. Requirements and skills: • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field • 10 - 15 years of experience working in mechanical engineering field • Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products • Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems • Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly • Must be self-motivated and a great team worker
