Principal Structural Engineer - Nelson & Blenheim - ( 230002MW ) Description Senior to Principal Level Structural Engineers!! Communities are fundamental. The opportunity | Ko te āheinga With opening of a new office in Blenheim, we are currently looking for senior - principal level structural engineers with exceptional current design skills and the ability to review and discuss options with others in the team. Day to day tasks would involve:
  • Detailed designs and calculations across a variety of transport and water related infrastructure projects.
  • Project leadership including design and construct project delivery methods.
  • Detailed report writing and carrying out seismic site response analysis
  • Ability to carry out structural assessments, inspections, risk assessment and asset management.
  • Construction supervision as required.
  • Working closely with project teams and project manager to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.
  • Mentoring and development of junior team members.

Qualifications About you | E pā ana ki a koe To be successful in this role you’ll need: Experience in transport infrastructure projects, ideally including large span bridge designs as well as water and wastewater infrastructure projects such as tanks and pump stations. You will have some experience in the delivery leadership of projects. Senior Role: To be a CPEng Chartered structural engineer or working towards Chartership and in the range of 7 years professional experience in the consulting industry. Principal Role: To be a CPEng Chartered structural engineer and in the range of 10 years professional experience in the consulting industry.
