Role Summary As a Senior Partnership Specialist at Talabat, you will be a pivotal member of our dynamic marketing team, focused on driving strategic partnerships and collaborations that amplify our brand's presence and business growth. You will play a vital role in identifying, cultivating, and managing partnerships with external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our marketing objectives and enhancing our market position. Your main tasks will cover:

  • Partnership Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy that aligns with Talabat's marketing goals and enhances brand visibility.
    • Identify potential partnership opportunities across various industries, including F&B, technology, entertainment, and more.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external partners, including businesses, brands, influencers, and industry associations.
    • Collaborate with partners to design and implement joint marketing initiatives that deliver mutual value.
  • Collaboration and Negotiation:
    • Work closely with our regional partnerships team to ensure successful roll-out of regionally-led initiatives, while ensuring campaigns are localized for Bahrain to maximize performance.
    • Negotiate terms, contracts, and agreements to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome for both Talabat and partners.
  • Campaign Execution:
    • Coordinate the planning, execution, and optimization of co-branded marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
    • Ensure timely and effective implementation of partnership campaigns, including tracking performance metrics.
  • Brand Representation:
    • Serve as a brand ambassador during partner interactions, reflecting the values and identity of Talabat in all communications.
    • Collaborate with partners to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all touchpoints.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze partnership performance metrics to assess the impact of campaigns and initiatives.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting key insights, successes, and areas for improvement.
  • Innovation and Ideation:
    • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new partnership opportunities and innovative collaboration ideas.
The Marketing Partnerships Specialist needs to be aware of current market trends and upcoming brands. They also need to be well aware of global and local marketing initiatives. They need to have a creative flair and be an initiator, not just executer. They need to be self-motivated with high attention to detail. What's On Your Plate? Partnerships:
  • Coordinate activities of the Partnership, and assists the team lead in coordinating activities of private sector business interests, non-profit and educational institutions, and other partnerships.
  • Based on the internal/external analysis, develop tactics to increase income and awareness through partnership collaborations.
Events and Sponsorships:
  • Handles the on-ground activations with all the hired suppliers to ensure everything is delivered as agreed with the marketing manager, handles the invitation management (prepares, delivers and secures RSVP), prepares event branding and set up, prepares and sets up the giveaways and supports on the overall event agenda.
  • Brainstorming on event themes, ideation and occasions.
What Did We Order?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or any other related field
  • 4+ years of general marketing experience, preferably in the local market
  • Knowledge of Media and Advertising agencies process and workflows
  • Time Management Skills
  • Decision Making Skills
  • Ability to deliver work with high degree of accuracy
  • Fluent in both languages Arabic and English
  • Communication skills (Written and Verbal)
