The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. We work, build and operate bespoke, technically complex, mission-critical systems which help our clients keep us all safe and secure. Due to the secure nature of the programme/role, you will need to hold the highest level of UK Security Clearance. You will work in an office location close to Gloucester. Your future duties and responsibilities This Software Engineer role will be responsible for the following activities: - Providing technical assurance through the development of the solution. - Leading and supporting technical engagement meetings, ensuring compliance with the requirement, promoting best practice, and conducting detailed reviews of the proposed design. - Experience of working in the Defence environment is strongly preferred, ideally having also spent time in roles providing advice and support to client teams.
