Regulatory Reporting Officer (Kuwaiti Talent)

Role Objective: The Regulatory Reporting Officer will assist the Finance Manager to ensure compliance of Kuwait branch with regulatory reporting requirements. The incumbent will ensure preparation of periodic Central Bank of Kuwait regulatory reports, returns and requests to the regulatory authorities, in line with0 the guidelines, and support coordination efforts with Central Bank of Kuwait officials/ other regulators /internal stakeholders on matters pertaining to regulatory reporting pertaining to retail/corporate customer segments. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Verify the balance sheets and related calculations/tables pertaining to the Kuwait branch for review/due submission to the Central Bank of Kuwait, in line with the reporting guidelines.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of all Arabic reports to the regulators.
• Assist the Finance Manager in information sourcing / coordination efforts throughout the selection and implementation of applicable Central Bank of Kuwait regulatory reporting tools and interfacing of the same with core banking applications.
• Contribute towards and support the Finance Manager in the sharing / implementation of the new CBK Regulatory Reporting requirements that the regulatory agencies/ governmental bodies might enforce, in terms of the policies and operational procedures.
• Manage coordination efforts with the internal stakeholders in ensuring prompt submission of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements across the branch in line with the guidelines set by the respective regulatory authorities.
• Verify to ensure that reports are completed with a high standard of information integrity and adhere to the reporting deadlines.
• Execute coordination efforts with the relevant departments, to ensure preparation / perform due submission of Basel III data (ratios "CAR, LCR, NSFR, LR, DSIB") as per the Central Bank of Kuwait guidelines.
• Liaise with the reporting authority to ensure accuracy and clearness of financial data detailed inmanagement reports / data produced for Central Bank of Kuwait.
• Reconcile and ensure submission of the cash/Credit Classification for the branch within the prescribed timeframe and as per guidelines.
• Contribute towards and ensure adherence to the processes and controls (automated/manual) / compliance with applicable regulatory reporting guidelines.
• Prepare, review and ensure prompt submission of the Cash Reserve reports/ cash or non-cash facilities provided to retail/ corporate customers, in line with the regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare, review and ensure prompt submission of Credit Concentration reports pertaining to Kuwait branch against the Balance Sheet.

• University graduate
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Experience in regulatory reporting in banking industry.
• Knowledge of Central Bank of Kuwait guidelines
• Knowledge of AML laws and regulations
