  • Actively build strong relationships with Leadership (Internal Teams, Middle office & Finance) and extended key stakeholders to drive a change management program
  • Drive the financial digitization strategy for Daraz with the objective to automate repetitive tasks
  • Solution conceptualization, design, and development. This may be automation, visualization, or data analysis-based
  • Monitor risk management and compliance procedures
  • Driving a team to produce the required high standard of deliverables
  • Delivering and reporting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Working alongside wider teams including Financial Control, Product Managers, and technical teams in particular, to call upon their expertise. Identify and act as a conduit to bringing in their services and foster relationships
  • Initiate and drive continuous improvement projects, including reviewing and prioritizing continuous improvement suggestions from within the local markets and the outsourcing service providers
  • Provide guidance and support to the business, challenging assumptions using a data-driven approach
  • Liaises with the automation team (internal and external) to handle small lean/automation initiatives as well as Continuous Improvement or Transformation opportunities including business case creation
  • Work closely with the business team and strategy team, providing insightful, quality, and segmented financial information as well as advice where relevant to support the business
  • Conduct budget control, reviewing project/contract applications for appropriateness and alignment with business needs
  • Build and optimize financial processes and related systems to improve efficiency and control business risks
  • Track record of data project delivery and leading project teams, including the ability to meet deadlines, overcome challenges, manage stakeholder expectations, and produce project deliverables
  • Make risk assessments, which involve analyzing and identifying risks posed by implementing new solutions that align with the risk appetite of the business
  • Coordinate and lead project teams consisting of business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that solution designs and implementations are aligned with project goals and requirements
  • Perform special ad hoc projects and analyses on a frequent basis
You would best fit this role, if you:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance/Information systems with at least 12 years of working experience
  • Solid team leader, technically strong, highly analytical to generate meaningful financial insights
  • Understanding of Dynamics 365 business applications and related technologies such as Power Platform, Azure, and SQL Server
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage conflicts, and influence without authority
  • Deep understanding of core financial concepts and processes
  • Experience in project delivery and risk management
  • Track record of data project delivery and leading project teams, including the ability to meet deadlines, overcome challenges, manage stakeholder expectations, and produce project deliverables
  • Make risk assessments, which involve analyzing and identifying risks posed by implementing new solutions that align with the risk appetite of the business
  • Plan, design, implement, and monitor risk management processes
  • Ability to develop new ideas into structured, deliverable proposals and projects
  • Strong business partner to business leaders, able to work in a matrix organization
  • Ability to identify and address business needs, develop and maintain meaningful relationships
  • Experience managing new business portfolios, MNC work exposure
  • Problem-solving mindset and strong analytical skills
  • Business Intelligence tools knowledge and experience, such as Power BI, Tableau, Dynamics
  • Preferred Industry experience in e-commerce will be highly advantageous
