1. Conduct Art Classes:
- Plan and execute art lessons for students of various age groups and skill levels.
- Instruct in various art mediums, including but not limited to drawing, painting, sketching, and mixed media.
- Design and develop a comprehensive art curriculum to meet the needs of the students and align with educational goals.
- Continuously update and enhance the curriculum to incorporate new techniques and trends in the art world.
- Provide personalized feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their artistic skills.
- Support and encourage students to explore their unique artistic style.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity.
- Manage classroom materials and ensure a safe and organized studio space.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Monday will be the designated off day.
- Possess a strong foundation in fine arts with expertise in one or more art forms.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various art techniques and mediums.
- Develop and implement the department's vision, goals, and strategies with the academy's principal.
- Collaborate with other tutors to ensure consistency in teaching methods and content.
- As a representative of the art department to attend meetings and provide guidance to enhance overall performance.
- Write and conduct lesson plans and course syllabi.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of student progress.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student performance and development.
- Stay abreast of current trends, techniques, and innovations in the art world.
- Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills.
- Participate in community events, exhibitions, and art-related activities to promote the art program and build community relationships.
- Graduated in Fine Arts or a related field.
- Previous experience as an art tutor or instructor preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to write and conduct lesson plans and course syllabi.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching art.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to explore and develop their artistic potential.
