Full-Time Art Tutor

1. Conduct Art Classes:

• Plan and execute art lessons for students of various age groups and skill levels.
• Instruct in various art mediums, including but not limited to drawing, painting, sketching, and mixed media.

2. Curriculum Development:

• Design and develop a comprehensive art curriculum to meet the needs of the students and align with educational goals.
• Continuously update and enhance the curriculum to incorporate new techniques and trends in the art world.

3. Individualized Instruction:

• Provide personalized feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their artistic skills.
• Support and encourage students to explore their unique artistic style.

4. Classroom Management:

• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity.
• Manage classroom materials and ensure a safe and organized studio space.

5. Availability:

• Ability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Monday will be the designated off day.

6. Fine Art Background:

• Possess a strong foundation in fine arts with expertise in one or more art forms.
• Demonstrate proficiency in various art techniques and mediums.

7. Responsibility:

• Develop and implement the department's vision, goals, and strategies with the academy's principal.
• Collaborate with other tutors to ensure consistency in teaching methods and content.
• As a representative of the art department to attend meetings and provide guidance to enhance overall performance.
• Write and conduct lesson plans and course syllabi.

8. Student Assessments:

• Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of student progress.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student performance and development.

9. Professional Development:

• Stay abreast of current trends, techniques, and innovations in the art world.
• Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills.

10. Community Engagement:

• Participate in community events, exhibitions, and art-related activities to promote the art program and build community relationships.

11. Qualifications:

• Graduated in Fine Arts or a related field.
• Previous experience as an art tutor or instructor preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write and conduct lesson plans and course syllabi.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching art.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to explore and develop their artistic potential.
