MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB The eLearning Leader is responsible for developing and delivering innovative eLearning services to Welocalize customers. The Leader’s main objective is to build and lead an agile structured eLearning practice. As a Leader, you will influence the strategy for eLearning services and assign Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to eLearning Squad Leads; govern squad performance and proactively identify actions to improve. Embracing the Welocalize Four Pillars of Customer Service, Quality, Innovation, and Global Teamwork the Leader will ensure all services are delivered to the highest standards possible. MAIN DUTIES The following is a list of the main accountabilities and responsibilities of the eLearning Leader: Overall - Responsible for the technical delivery of eLearning services to our customers. - Build and lead a global eLearning function by setting strategic goals, clear roles, and responsibilities. - Develop our eLearning offering to leverage industry-leading leading AI technologies to meet defined growth targets. - Achieve assigned Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), achieving or exceeding the financial performance of the eLearning function. - Monitor financial and operational metrics (KPIs) supporting eLearning Squad Leads on implementation and execution of production process improvements resulting in increased ROI. - Adopt, implement, and govern Agile processes and practices. - Responsible for owning and auditing a global process to ensure standardization across all global eLearning Squad groups. - Partner with the Sales Team in developing new business opportunities; provide RFP response support, pricing, staffing assignments, and any other service delivery obligations required to nurture and win new business opportunities. - Utilize business intelligence and assist eLearning Squad Leads in measuring and reporting OKR progress on a weekly basis. Key Competencies - Ability to think strategically and articulate ideas and plans with the professional maturity to participate at senior management level. - Knowledge and awareness of business trends. - Can lead technical customer discovery meetings, capture requirements, and set success factors. - Drives collaboration among the different eLearning Squads – facilitates decision-making and actions in the context of delivery to customers. - Actively drives their teams and has a positive Impact. - Shows good negotiation skills and situational awareness. - Can establish & develop processes and procedures as part of a client program in alignment with Welocalize tools and systems Provides mentoring & coaching to all eLearning Squad Leads. REQUIREMENTS Experience - Proven track record of creating and leading a high-growth professional eLearning function and offering. - Extensive delivery experience required to demonstrate an expert understanding of all aspects of the eLearning localization process. - Curiosity and creativity to question existing processes and approaches and innovate new ones. - Demonstrable experience in using AI technology to streamline workflows is desirable. - Proven ability to develop external partner networks and relationships. - Experience in financial and operational management. - Ability to travel for work commitments is required.
