Position Summary The product management team at LetsGetChecked plays a vital role in shopping the company’s overarching strategy. This involves delivering advanced technology solutions and comprehensive services products enabled by technology. These offerings align with the business strategy and address the clinical and operational needs of the various stakeholders, encompassing patients, providers, external clients, and internal teams to improve marketing standing, differentiation and shareholder value. The team does this through:

  • research to understand stakeholder needs
  • collaboration to determine the best approach for the business (build/buy/partner.),
  • execution on delivery,
  • and, oversight of go-to-market launch activities.
Products will have:
  • measurable KPIs
  • outcomes demonstrating improvement for the business and its clients
The Director, Product Management (Dir, PM) is responsible for ownership of a vertical or verticals within the product management team. Examples of the verticals are consumer, clinical, diagnostics, operations, genomics, and customer service/Sales Force. This Dir, PM will own the technology solution - establishing the vision of how products will be used by stakeholders, create strategic roadmaps, focus on requirements and design, and align decisions with the broader business strategy for the customer service/Sales Force vertical. Reporting to the VP of Product, the Dir, PM oversees a team of product managers and analysts dedicated to supporting the LetsGetChecked’s customer service and Sales Force vertical. The role involves close collaboration with Product, Design and Engineering leaders, stakeholders, and business owners to ensure strategic alignment and prioritize work based on research and data. Technology or solutions implemented will include KPIs and planned outcomes that improve LetsGetChecked’s value proposition. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Own the strategic planning and roadmap, while collaborating with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to facilitate future growth
  • Prioritize and execute roadmap with the Product and Engineering teams
  • Bridge communication between teams and stakeholders, offering roadmap transparency
  • Investigate 3rd party integration opportunities
  • Assist with identifying short, medium and long-term opportunities and support business growth
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to effectively address their requirements
  • Evaluate performance of solutions, work with engineering to identify opportunities for improvement, and implement necessary changes
  • Resource to Sales, Marketing Communication, Senior leadership and others in the organization re: product and product positioning.
  • Work with Sales Training to develop, refine and produce ongoing materials for product and service offerings for Sales and Marketing.
  • Work with business leaders and customers across the enterprise in assigned vertical to understand business needs and to quickly assess build/buy/partner options. Create a business case for proposed solutions.
  • Provide guidance to a team of product managers; plan, assign and direct workloads of product managers. Nurture team to build a customer-centric approach to product development through deep market and user research, interviews, and testing. Establish metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements.
  • Work with Engineering to align on product roadmap and its delivery, through ideation, testing, validation, and execution. Work in an Agile Product Development process creating well thought-out and consumable user stories.
  • Manage the collection, description, analysis and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from vertical stakeholders
  • Synthesize ideas on strategy, planning and execution of next generation of products. Build consensus and drive execution.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on research, messaging, value proposition, and differentiation to develop go to market strategy and ensure successful launch and positioning of our offerings.
  • Measure and analyze performance of product initiatives against KPIs, and other metrics
  • Monitor and keep abreast with industry trends and competitors to identify and respond to new opportunities based on market research, trends, market demand, and customer feedback and requests. Generate ideas for product introductions and expansion. Participate in industry events and committees as appropriate.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages team of product managers and/or product analysts. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.   • 8+ years of relevant industry experience with a proven track record in a tech environment.
  • Experience designing and implementing large scale systems / products
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience managing people and managing their development
  • Experience working with US Health Care
  • Proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced organization
  • Experience working with teams to build on a Salesforce platform
  • Capable participant/presenter in internal and external executive meetings

  • Self-starter, who can manage their workload and plan accordingly

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university, preferably in marketing, computer science, engineering, business or related field and 8+ years of related experience; or 15+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
