Location(s): South Africa City/Cities: Johannesburg Travel Required: 00% - 25% Relocation Provided: Job Posting End Date: December 12, 2023 Shift: Job Description Summary: Position overview: We are actively seeking an experienced Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Senior Director with experience in the beverage and/or FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 12+ years of significant leadership experience on multiple dimensions of RGM disciplines including product portfolio strategy (design, implementation, and management), pricing, and translating strategy into execution. This individual should also demonstrate the ability to lead large-scale strategic projects, effectively navigating across strategy design and tactical execution with robust project management approaches. As a senior member of the RGM team, this individual should also possess strong stakeholder management skills to lead the system through the most complex growth challenges in the business. What You will Do:

  • Develop RGM strategies for assigned set of markets, working closely with franchise leaders to assess and co-create relevant solutions to drive portfolio growth
  • Analyze relevant market trends and develop insights to inform RGM strategies (e.g., consumer, competitor, industry, and macroeconomic trends)
  • Take significant leadership of RGM strategic projects in relevant markets, driving the strategic agenda while building buy-in across company and bottler teams
  • Lead RGM governance routines within the franchise to ensure delivery of key RGM initiatives, and be a network connector to surface relevant expertise within the Operating Unit while ensuring initiatives are ‘in-sync’ with other ongoing strategic initiatives
  • Be a local champion for deepening RGM capability within the franchise, taking responsibility for deployment of capability programs and tools rollout within assigned region
Desired skills and experience
  • Advanced strategic planning capability backed by superior analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of business fundamentals and complex growth drivers across a broad range of markets
  • Proven leadership experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • 12+ years of considerable leadership experience in the FMCG or related sectors, especially in RGM and/or commercial planning
Education requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred
  • Additional analytical, financial, or commercial qualifications are beneficial
