Value Stream Engineering Lead required for an expanding Global Healthcare Manufacturing company. This role is to support the transition from current structure to a new Value Stream model. Reporting to the Operational Engineering Director, you will have responsibility for the Value Stream’s maintenance and Packaging Engineering functions. o There are three direct reports; Maintenance Team Lead and 2 Packaging Engineers. oYou play a critical co-ordination role for other departments and functions that support the Value Stream (e.g. Production, Quality, Utilities, Supply Chain) and will have a strong dotted line into the Value Stream Director. o This job will have a focus on changing from the current organization structure and leading and coaching the operations engineering function to support business goals, supporting a Lean Organisation.
Experience
Degree in Engineering with experience of managing engineering teams in a GMP environment. Ideally have a recognised Coaching qualification and use the tools, skills and techniques as your default style of leading / managing Demonstrated experience in working and influencing cross-functionally and developing strong working relationships. Experience in Automatic packaging machines – Vial labellers, label presence detection systems, Automatic cartoners, box labellers and palletisers is an advantage.
