Head of Land Contracts - Solicitor

A leading global renewable company is looking to hire a Head of Land contracts to join their team in Dublin or Cork. This is an exciting position to join a leading business with scope to grow the role across other territories outside of Ireland. About this role and key responsibilities:
- Cross-liaising with in-house legal and project managers on areas of mutual concern
- Full life-cycle contract management and producing and managing a reasonable volume of core contracts
- Must have proactive and personable approach, especially when dealing with landowner’s legal advisers
- Delivery of contracts solely for the Irish market
- Evaluating, procuring and using best-in-class AI contract assembly software
- Tailoring standard-form commercial land agreements for wind and solar project developments to specific landowner's commercial and practical requirements
- Liaising with the Head of Company Secretarial and Contracts Management to maintain a permanent central database of all documents sent out
- Ongoing contract management
- E-mailing and/or arranging for posting out to landowners and their local law firms
- The position will report to the legal director, and the person appointed will also have significant interactions with the Irish development team
- Qualified Solicitor looking to move away from a purely legal role or has similar experience to the above
- Continual improvement mindset and project management experience
- Good people skills, self-starter and ambitious
