Planning and Infrastructure Lawyer – Dublin An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced lawyer specialising in Planning and Infrastructure law, based in Dublin. This role presents a unique chance to shape and build a practice in Dublin with the assistance of a supportive team. The Role As a senior lawyer, you’ll enjoy significant client interaction, playing a pivotal role in expanding the practice by fostering relationships with both new and existing clients and providing guidance to junior team members. The wider team excels in real estate, transport, energy, planning and environmental due diligence arising from corporate transactions. Responsibilities for this position will include:
- Advising clients on regulatory consents for infrastructure projects and their sequencing
- Guiding clients through the consenting process under different regulatory regimes in Ireland
- Reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment Reports and advising on statutory compliance
- Conducting planning and environmental due diligence for M&A projects
- Analysing planning permissions
- Advising and defending judicial review proceedings and planning and environmental prosecutions
- Qualified solicitor with 6+ years PQE in Planning/Infrastructure law
- Strong understanding of technical legislation, regulatory requirements, and expectations in planning and infrastructure matters
- Experience in guiding junior team members and driving work matters
- Proactive and enthusiastic, embracing new challenges to contribute to professional growth
- Adept at building strong client relationships while thriving in a collaborative team environment
