We are seeking a skilled SQL Server BI Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and maintaining a SQL Server-based business intelligence (BI) database environment, including designing and implementing data models, optimizing queries, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data. Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organization's SQL Server-based BI database environment, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of the SQL Server DBMS
- Design and implement data models to support business intelligence needs
- Optimize queries and database performance to ensure efficient operation
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data in the BI database
- Implement security measures to protect the BI database and data
- Plan and execute backup and recovery procedures for the BI database
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise with the BI database
- Provide support to BI developers and other stakeholders who use the BI database
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator, with specific experience managing a SQL Server-based business intelligence database environment
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices
- Expertise in SQL and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
