Machine Learning Data Analyst

Massive Bio is a rapidly growing health-tech startup founded in 2015 to provide every cancer patient with access to clinical trials regardless of their location or financial stability. Our proprietary patient recruitment and enrollment enablement solution for oncology clinical trials solves every point of friction in traditional clinical trial enrollment. Privately held and headquartered in NY City, our passionate changemaker team is looking for a Machine Learning Data Analyst working out of our Istanbul office. As a key member of our Software Development Team, you will be joining our team in Istanbul, Turkey, and your responsibilities will include interpreting raw data from sources, interpreting data sets, and developing ML and AI models. Reporting to the Director of Software Development, you will:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop an understanding of software product requirements and technical specifications.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret raw data from various sources, transforming it into useful information.
• Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
• Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge machine learning and AI models.
• Provide accurate and appropriate interpretation of data, applying knowledge from machine learning and AI.
• Build predictive models and leverage machine learning algorithms.
• Collaborate with different teams to drive, implement and analyze A/B testing results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
• Advise management and stakeholders on potential strategies informed by data analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• At least 4 years of experience in a data analysis or related role.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with machine learning and large language models (LLM).
• Proficiency in relevant data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
• Familiarity with healthcare data and biomarkers is a plus.
• Ability to analyze large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets with a variety of tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, natural curiosity, and the ability for creative problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of proficiency in English.
• Living in Istanbul, preferably on the Anatolian side.
• The work location is Kozyatagi, Istanbul; at least 2 days/week at the office.
