We have a great opportunity for an Architect , based in the Philippines as part of a workshare team, remotely assisting our Australia office while in collaboration with our Architecture and Urban Design Group. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Working closely with architects/engineers and other designers to produce a detailed set of documents and drawings that meet project brief, scope, and specifications
- Prepare, and develop drawings, models, specifications, reports, and other documents relating to the design
- Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the technical and design documentation / Revit Model development
- Work closely with the Senior Architect / Design Manager to produce technical documentation for various projects
- Have full oversight and quality check of production of design and technical documentation
- Responsible for Revit clash detection and multidisciplinary checks
- Checking project models and drawings for quality assurance and dimensional accuracy
- Self-management and co-ordination of drafting processes, data, and modeling information
- Detailed Construction knowledge
- Mentoring, sharing knowledge, and upskilling the design team regarding Technical Delivery and Model development
- Previous work experience in Australian projects is essential as well as an understanding of local Australian building codes and requirements
- Minimum 8 years experience working on medium to large-scale projects
- Extensive experience from concept through to construction, across a range of project types including residential, commercial, hospitality, medical, leisure, education, and high-rise developments. Previous site experience would be beneficial
- Experience in documenting buildings at various stages from Concept, Schematic, Detail Design, and IFC level documentation
- Proficiency in Revit, 3D rendering software utilizing Revit is a requirement
- Strong knowledge of how building components come together and able to highlight modeling errors
- Strong communication skills that allow close coordination with the other regional centers and other disciplines
