Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Support EUR/INT PAV (Patient Access & Value) capability build through managing projects and initiatives in close collaboration with the EUR/INT Market Access, Portfolio Strategy and HEOR teams.
• Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of up to date EUR/INT Pricing guidelines and processes aligned with global Pricing Strategies.
• Analyse pricing impact materials and propose countermeasures to minimize risk.
• Develop, implement and improve pricing dashboards to track key pricing critical metrics, including management of external pricing database access.
• Coordinate with local and other regional departments to maintain list and commercial price registers. Ensure effective adherence to pricing governances and local strategies.
• Contribute to review pricing requests to the EUR/INT Pricing Committee by supporting business case completion, facilitating cross-functional alignments with Pricing Committee members. The scope and geographic coverage include direct and partner markets for Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific, South and Latin America across the relevant portfolio.
• Respond to ad-hoc price queries from internal stakeholders. Resolve pricing issues, implement actions to correct root causes and update appropriate systems if required.
• Contribute towards the corporate development assessment of new products / business opportunities, through analysis of potential pricing analogs across the EUR/INT region.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop the pricing expectations for internal pipeline products to contribute towards the commercial assessment (including go/no-go decisions) and long-range forecasting.
• Management of the pricing management system and associated audits and controls according to corporate guidelines
• Provide regular training to regional and affiliates stakeholders in relation to pricing matters (governance, templates, reporting and pricing management system).

• Strong understanding of the Biopharmaceutical industry
• Good understanding of European pricing & reimbursement landscape (desirable understanding of G7 countries and beyond, e.g. Japan, Australia, Switzerland, China and Brazil)
• Broad understanding of potential datasets and data sources to help in commercial assessments and pricing analysis
• Hands-on experience with conducting Payer market research and ad-boards is desirable but not required
• Ability to remotely work closely with multiple, diverse teams across different time zones
• Excellent numerical skills with experience in developing longitudinal models.
• Excellent analytical, research and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Governance and Pricing Management Systems concepts.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, sometimes under tight deadlines, whilst working independently with minimal supervision
• Well organised with good planning abilities
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Proficiency with data management and business insights systems desirable

• Proven experience within a life science company or consultancy supporting the healthcare industry / other relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably life sciences) or equivalent qualification
• Advanced science degree (MS, PhD, PharmD, MBA) highly valued
