POSITION TITLE: Intern REPORTS TO: Finance Director LOCATION: Country Office Basic Function. A Finance Intern is responsible for providing support to the finance department and gaining valuable hands-on experience in various finance-related tasks. This is a full-time, temporary position that provides an opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals and develop essential skills in finance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis
  • Participate in budget preparation and monitoring
  • Support the accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Help with the maintenance of accurate financial records
  • Conduct research and data analysis to support various finance projects
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed Qualifications:
    • Currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance with grade not below 21 and with a professional qualification of ACCA, ACA or ACMA. Two years post-NYSC.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
