The Maintenance Division is responsible for providing maintenance work planning and execution in addition to corrective maintenance of the plant assets including rotating and stationary equipment The rotating equipment specialist primary role is to provide advanced technical support for the major rotating equipment and their auxiliary systemsDuties & ResponsibilitiesYou will be required to perform the following:

  • Provide gas compressor support when requested by the plant maintenance and operation.
  • Support gas compressor inspection and major overhaul.
  • Provide technical support for the plant rotating equipment including air compressors, reciprocating compressors, pumps and their auxiliary systems.
  • Carry out rotating equipment failure troubleshooting and propose corrective actions.
  • Help the team to maintain the highest achievable life, availability and reliability of the plant rotating equipment by carrying out RCA, technology deployment, performance monitoring, etc.
  • Propose, support and manage the plant rotating equipment upgrade and replacement projects.
  • Support in the rotating equipment maintenance strategy development and review.
Minimum RequirementsAs the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.You will have minimum of ten years, experience in rotating equipment, including at least five year in oil and gas business.
  • you will have high experience in gas compressor and their auxiliary systems
  • you must have advanced understanding of vibration and rotor dynamics
  • you must have adequate skills in condition monitoring, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • understanding of international standard is a requirement
  • general understanding of rotating equipment is also necessary
  • vibration analyst certification is preferred
