Contribute/ recommend systems and procedures. Monitor and analyse the Consultants and Contractors' project plans, mobilization of PMC Manpower, schedules, progress, resources utilization and recommend corrective actions. Plan, schedule, monitor and control assigned civil projects in line with approved scope of work.Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)Project PlanningContribute/ recommend and maintain systems and procedures covering the areas of planning, scheduling progress measurement and reporting.Participate / review project execution strategies and implementation schedules advise on logic, duration and mode of implementation.Check that suitable contractual provisions are made in all contracts to provide appropriate planning and scheduling data, information and documentation.Prepare the planning formats with respect to project control department in the Tender documents and participate in technical evaluation bids.Review the planning and scheduling documents, such as master schedules, progress reports, 'S' curves and bar charts etc. prepared properly by Consultants and Contractors in accordance with contractual time schedules and frequencies.Participate / recommend necessary planning documents for Company approval and follow up/ monitor regular update by Consultants and Contractors.Identify and monitor regularly the critical and sub-critical activities and their impact on the project schedules.Monitor the reported progress of Consultants/Contractors and verify that the reports accurately reflect the actual performance and productivity.Check the weekly and monthly reports submitted by Consultants and Contractors.Review and calculate the Change Request and Contract Trend Notice related to time impact.Assess / evaluate the claims submitted by Consultants and Contractors.Check the work forecasts and plan for remaining activities and comments on the proposals for any amendments to original plans and schedules.Analyse work progress trends for potential problems, identify areas of concern and moitor implications of such problems and propose possible course of action for timely completion of projects.Attend regular monthly / weekly progress review meetings. Prepare monthly executive reports on project status and progress, and reviews the project close-out reports.Participate in resource deployment and work of contractors, and propose corrective actions.Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 2)Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 3)Generic AccountabilitiesSupervisionPlan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective business objectives.BudgetsProvide input for preparation of the Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver business objectives.Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section's work programs in line with Company and International standards.Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.Performance ManagementContribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.Innovation and Continuous ImprovementDesign and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and SustainabilityComply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of PracticesReportsGeneric Accountabilities (continue)Internal Communications & Working RelationshipsDaily contacts with Planning & Cost Control Head, Project Managers and other project personnel regarding planning activities.External Communications & Working RelationshipsRegular contacts with ADNOC Group employees on work related mattersFrequent contacts with outside Consultants/Contractors.Bachelor`s Degree in an Engineering discipline.6 years' experience in planning and scheduling in Major Building/Civil Projects in a large organization.Must be conversant with Primavera, MS Projects, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.Good knowledge of English.Professional CertificationsAs applicableWork Condition, Physical effort & Work EnvironmentPhysical EffortMaximum Work involved with Computer. Also exposure to travelling, standing, walking and climbing up to 30% of working time while conducting Audits and Inspections.Normally A/C environment.
