And its main purpose is to create a sustainable, tech-enabled, and human centric 'City of the Future'Opportunity ResponsibilitiesThe Manager of Learning and Development is responsible to support developing and implementing an organization-wide Learning & Development strategy that facilitates and drives individual development and capacity building in line with Expo City Dubai requirements.The role will manage and deliver on all aspects of the learning cycle, with a specific focus on talent and professional development for Expo City Dubai colleagues.The role will be responsible managing the Expo City Dubai LLC annual development plan, and to manage other key initiatives that creates a culture of continuous exploration, education and people development.Strategic Responsibilities:Supports with the development of the Learning and Development strategy; Participates in yearly planning cycles including budgeting and resource planning. Conducts Training Needs Analysis using both structured and informal methods to capture requirements across the entity Provides solutions flexible methods to address the developmental and capability needs for the organization Supports with the development of a comprehensive L&D plan based on the developmental needs and methods identified Manages the implementation of the L&D plan to ensure smooth execution with effective outcomes; providing thought leadership around programme design and delivery Maintains a keen understanding of learning & development trends, developments and best practices Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities:Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities Monitors and evaluates both structured and informal methods used; making continuous improvements in the approach, process and methods as appropriate Monitors and manages Training Key Performance Indicators and supports the development of any reporting documents Tracks, measures and reports all metrics in relation to learning and development activities across the programme lifecycle Evaluates training programmes, materials, assessments, and practices to determine programme impact Operational Responsibilities: Manages the implementation of the learning and development strategy that addresses the operational needs of Expo City Dubai (including any ad hoc high-profile events), career development aspirations and supports in capability building and knowledge retention Manages the corporate training plan Designs and develops learning programmes for the annual training calendar, including all leadership development programmes, and any additional adhoc, high profile events that may arise Manages the rollout of various training programmes and initiatives, including any out of plan initiatives that may be required Manages the design and delivery of the Expo City Dubai induction and the orientation programme Supports with the management of any learning and development agencies that might be required Supports departments and individuals to define and develop learning content for functions and defined job roles, and in selection and distribution of learning materials. Manages internal relationships with all learning champions and internal stakeholders Coach and guide employees on a one on one basis from time to time; Assess, recommends and implements learning technologies and solutions Additional Key Responsibilities Ensures overall learning and development approach is relevant; Supports the Director of Human Resources with any succession planning development needs for the organisation Manages UAE National specific development programmes, such as Apprenticeships and Internships programmes Embeds the Expo City Dubai vision and values and company culture into training content where possible; Identifies ways to improve capability development to align to Expo City Dubai's strategic goals Skills 6+ years of experience specializing in Learning and development or Talent development as well as: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferably within a relevant field CIPD Diploma in Learning and development Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent intrapersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel Advanced time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines Supportive and cooperative Emotionally intelligent Good understanding of data analysis and reporting Human ResourcesTo stay safe in your job search, information on common scams and to get free expert advice, we recommend that you visit SAFERjobs , a non-profit, joint industry and law enforcement organization working to combat job scams.Hiring companyConfidential Improve your chance to get this job.
