Full timeat a Laimoon Verified Companyin UAE Job Description Planning Data Specialist PurposeThe Planning Data Specialist reports to Senior Manager CAMO Planning, the role requires analysing data and present statistics to Planning department. Accountabilities · Develop business intelligence reporting including historical data trend analysis and visualizations that identify business improvement opportunities· Partner with business areas to define critical reporting needs and provide guidance regarding the availability of data and set expectations around delivery of results· Work with IT stakeholders in establishing access to data sources, obtaining definitions of data sets and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of information· Assists with implementation of relevant data into database and resolves any data quality issues by working with team members and stakeholders to identify root causes of and solve data concerns.· Design and execute data extract/transform/load (ETL) scripts and environment migrations· Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.· Create and maintain best-data-modeling-practices-based Analysis Services to meet analytics requirements· Assist with special projects, data maintenance, and other day-to-day tasks in support of the overall Business Intelligence platform· Analyze data and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences· Effectively manage workload by prioritizing ad-hoc requests, development efforts and analysis· Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models.· Design and automate reports and dashboards to showcase and analyze KPIs· Provide daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly insights to Management Team.· Identify the area of improvements and provide solutions. Education & Experience · A degree in Computer Science or relevant field with at least 5 years of experience in data-specific roles· Mandate to have experience with BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau.· Must have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design, dimension models / star schema· Excellent in SQL programming (Stored procedures, functions & triggers), writing and optimizing SQL Queries· Experienced in creating Power BI Dashboards and Presentations.· Experience working with Data Warehousing, Reports and Dashboards· Good data analytical skills and creation of Data Dashboards· Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills· Knowledge of Dimensional and relational modelling techniques· Data analysis for precise and efficient data extraction· Knowledge of Python and R is a plusTo stay safe in your job search, information on common scams and to get free expert advice, we recommend that you visit SAFERjobs , a non-profit, joint industry and law enforcement organization working to combat job scams.Hiring companyConfidential Improve your chance to get this job.
