BFL CANADA is looking for a Client Service Assistant in Real Estate for its Kelowna Office!As a member of our Real Estate division, you will be responsible to assist the Client Service Manager (CSM) and/or Client Executive (CE) to provide the highest quality service to clients by providing professional and accurate documentation.If you're looking for a dynamic work environment, keep reading! YOUR DAY AS A CLIENT SERVICE ASSISTANTProcesses submissions and/or summaries and provides to Marketing, with clear instructions and direction from CSM/CE.Obtains claims history from claims department on behalf of CSM/CE.Processes proposals for new and renewal business, with clear instructions and direction from the CSM/CE.Responds to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters in a timely and professional manner, in the absence of the CSM/CE.Processes cover notes/binders, invoices, certificates of insurance, enclosure/clarification letters, memos, and other documentation as required, with clear instructions and direction from CSM/CE.Maintains expiry lists, records, and policy files to ensure that they are organized and up to date.Requests and follows up with Marketing for outstanding information, endorsements or policy documentation.Creates abeyances and advises CSM/CE of follow ups on outstanding items from Marketing and clients.Processes incoming mail and directs to appropriate personnel within the department.Works with Accounting Department to resolve accounting discrepancies and related issues.Monitors and follows up on outstanding client receivables, as instructed by the CSM/CE.Organizes and prepares premium financing, when required.Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required.OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE 2-3 years Commercial insurance related experience an assetLevel 2 licenseMaintenance of licensing requirements/continuing education,Strong verbal and written communication skills,Ability to work well independently, as part of a team and with others throughout the organization,Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, EPIC, Excel, PowerPointAbility to work with high volume accounts, in a fast paced environmentEffective time management/organizational skillsClient focused and service orientedEnergetic and flexibleMature, positive attitudeDetail oriented PERKSJoin a dynamic team where entrepreneurship, innovation and collaboration are at the core of our values.Work in an organization that believes in integrity, respect and recognition of diversity and community support.Enjoy a competitive salary and a multitude of benefits from your first day with us including generous medical and dental coverage, telemedicine, an employee and family assistance program and RRSPs;Choose our hybrid work program allowing you to maximize the benefits and efficiency of both face-to-face and telecommuting work.Develop your career by choosing a company that encourages, supports continuing education, and invests in the training of its employees.Choose a stimulating work environment that will allow you to grow both personally and professionally, with a team, projects and challenges that are motivating and rewarding.OFFICE INFORMATION Our Kelowna office is situated in the Landmark Professional District in central Kelowna, close to many great amenities.
