Scope:Reporting to the Procurement Manager this position will operate in the area of procurement, estimating, bid analysis, selection of suppliers, engineered equipment, subcontracts, professional services, commodities, site purchasing, material management, contract administration, site mobilization and demobilization and supplier quality surveillance while supporting the company's competitive position.Responsibilities:Work closely with the Purchasing Manager and Estimating team to purchase the highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost in correct amounts per specificationPrepare and complete Purchase OrdersPerform technical alignment of quotationsFollow the Vendor selection evaluation processes for 50K+ ordersAssess risksNegotiate prices that contribute to the bottom line, terms and conditionsPreparing bid comparison tables for review by Purchasing Manager;Revise and update existing and new Master service agreements (MSA)Keep all information updated on the company data base by sorting and filing documents to server in a timely mannerPull out monthly, quarterly and yearly purchasing reports such as purchase cost, delivery, product performance and sourcesSource the highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost in correct amountsSource new service vendorsDevelop and update Industry suppliers and vendors database according ISO requirementsPrepare Supplier matrix reports according to COR standards (e.g. Supplier performance report, supplier assessment survey, etc.)Prepare requirement to get relevant quotations such as technical provision, delivery provisions, time lines, etc.Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel)Demonstrate proficiency with vendor negotiationsExcellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitaskAttention to detailsEffective time managementQualifications:Has a supply chain management professional designation or working towards it1+ years' experience in a similar roleExperience in Construction Industry is an asset Construction
