For this reason, we strive to design products that will enhance the experience and create accessibility for anyone who desires to be outside no matter the season.The Role:The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing professional, timely, and knowledgeable service to our B2C customers through phone calls and emails. Along with this, the right candidate will provide B2B customer service, assist the Sales Coordinator as needed, and support both B2B and B2C sales.Overall, the ideal candidate will display a strong knowledge of our range of outdoor products, while having a clear understanding of our company values.Key Responsibilities:Acquire general knowledge of Hillsound Equipment products & technologies to effectively field customer inquiries.Acquire a broad knowledge of customer service procedures across all market categories (Both B2B and B2C)Provide professional, timely, and knowledgeable service to our online customers through multiple communication channels, including phone, email, live chat, social media, etc.Support the online sales, customer service, and order fulfillment processes.Respond to customer email inquiries including, technical questions and dealer locator.Effectively assess customer needs related to products, orders, payments, logistics, etc., and proactively manage using a positive, helpful approach.Strive for excellence with every customer engagement.Processing of warranties for B2C and B2B channels.Assist the sales team in a range of tasks, including data entry.General office support includes; answering calls and assisting on other projects.Other duties as assignedQualifications and Requirements:High school diplomaParticipating in outdoor-related activities associated in order to test & understand our productsMinimum 1 year of customer service1-year experience working in an office settingOutstanding interpersonal skills with a strong aptitude for building relationships in person, through email, and over the phone.Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and complete heavy workloads.Good computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.Problem-solving aptitude with a commitment to do what is right.Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration.Strong customer service orientation and background.Positive attitude and a strong sense of commitment to deadlines.Excellent team player with a high level of personal initiative and energy.Assets:Post-secondary educationEcommerce experience with Shopify1 year of sales experienceERP software experienceRetail experience in the outdoor industryFluent in French (Quebec)Experience with GSuite software (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, etc)The Benefits:Currently in Phase 2 of transitioning to a 4-day work week (Phase 2: working half-day twice a week)Opportunity to enjoy the outdoors through team hiking trips & excursionsCompany product & industry discountsRelaxed and dog-friendly office settingWork hybrid (work remotely & in the office)Anyone who has a passion for the great outdoors and possesses the requirements above is welcome to apply!
