Accountabilities: Provide input to ACG's strategic and tactical plans and direction to ensure an understanding of the corporate risk direction, risk appetite, return expectations and analytics throughout all business areas to foster a culture of balanced risk and returnLead the continued development and implementation of ACG's data and risk management strategyDrive a culture of risk ownership, accountability, and analytics across the organization and ensure key risks and outcomes are identified, measured, managed, monitored and reportedEnsure there is a structured focus on data integrity, accuracy and completeness throughout the development, implementation and review of standards, policies, procedures and controlsEffectively communicate ACG's risk posture and emerging risks to ACG's Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors, as well as to regulatory bodies as requiredEnsure the delivery of optimal results within the Corporate Risk, Data and Analytics function with appropriate performance metrics including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performanceQualifications:Post-secondary education in a relevant field combined with a minimum of 15 years of experience in relevant leadership rolesACAS/FCAs designation or equivalent is an assetStrong influencing, communication and collaboration skills with peers and subordinates to reach goalsAbility to develop strong relationships throughout the organization and influence senior leaders and teamsDemonstrated thought leader with the ability to identify new ideas, techniques, and opportunities for improving effectiveness, performance and productivity is essentialExcellent financial and business acumenStrong attention to detail and a drive to resolve outstanding issuesExperience translating data and trends into actionable insights to provide clear direction regarding prioritiesProven leadership skills with the ability to develop, coach and manage a teamAllstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
