PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Solution Architect will primarily support the Demand Team (Client Success Team and Acquisition) design well-built solutions that solve key business problems/risks identified.
Neil will be responsible for:
Creating the overall technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem Designing, describing, and managing the solution within agreed timeframesBuilding a bridge between a business problem and the technology solution and outline each of the phases and requirements required to make that solution work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Find the best tech solution to solve existing business problems Provide recommendations and roadmaps to demand team for proposed solutionsPerform design, debug, and performance analysis on solutionsDocumenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutionsWorking with Head of Sales and Marketing to evangelise and productise solutions that can be used across the business Advocating for process improvements and helping develop solutionsRegularly communicating new features and benefits to partners, customers, and other stakeholdersProviding technical leadership to the demand team throughout the project lifecycleDeveloping proof-of-concept projects to validate your proposed solutionsReviewing and validating solutions designs from other team membersDescribe the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the software to project stakeholders.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
Delivering solutions in budget and within agreed timelinesAble to lead Pre-sales Technical work, e.g., finalizing a full Build of Materials (BOM) including hardware, software and services
X number of projects solutioned that result in growth in accounts
X number of solutions productised and communicated across demand team that result in use in existing and future accounts Business Engineering & Management
