Job details
A leading banking platform built for small business owners, freelancers and entrepreneurs is looking for a Head of Data. The candidate will be responsible for setting up data engineering and infrastructure pipelines. The platform enables business owners to carry out simple business banking with no hidden fees. The selected candidate is expected to be familiar with the required tools and knowledgeable on how to approach problems effectively. The role presents a nice opportunity to join a fast-growing team and rise quickly through the ranks.Job Responsibilities:Understand and follow standardized software engineering processesPossess an in-depth understanding of your product area, and systemsEnsure completed projects meet and exceed campaign goalsGuide fellow team members on the best practices to be followed and mentor junior engineersJob Requirements:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)Must have prior experience setting up data engineering and infrastructure pipelineKnowledge of the type of tools and techniques that can be used for increased efficiencySkilled at tackling complex problems and solving them methodically in an analytical mannerMust have prior experience working with a professional team of various skill levelsExcellent communication skills and a team player Education/Teaching
