A rapidly-growing company driving efforts in the banking space is looking for a Database Administrator. The candidate will work on restructuring the database schema and building migration tools to move things over to the database. The platform is built for small business owners, freelancers, entrepreneurs and enables simple business banking with no hidden fees. Some experience with PostgreSQL database administration is required for this role. The selected candidate will join the team to develop solutions that impact the banking industry.Job Responsibilities:Help restructure our database schema and build migration tools to move things over to itOptimize the indexes on the company's databaseCollaborate with other team members to improve and enhance the software experienceEngage with product managers and fellow engineers to establish and refine requirementsJob Requirements:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)Must be skilled at PostgreSQL Database AdministrationDoes not need micromanaging and can work in a self-sufficient environmentMust be a team player and great at interpersonal communicationFluent in verbal and written communication IT
