The selected developer would be responsible for helping the company build its platform and enhance the UI while ensuring an exceptional user experience. The company is building a freelance marketplace of vetted security researchers for Web3 projects, helping them find readily available security resources, and avoid waiting months for security reviews or shipping unaudited code. This is an amazing opportunity for developers who are looking for a challenge and the opportunity to work independently.Job Responsibilities:Build and maintain the platform's front-end features using React, TypeScript, and other tech stacksEstablish well-maintained CI/CD pipelines to effectively deploy featuresEnsure all products are released in a fast, reliable, and secure mannerCollaborate with various teams to understand product requirements and define user flowsEnsure the platform's fast load time and smooth interaction by continuously optimizing and improving itEnsure the platform adheres to best-in-industry security best practicesStay abreast of the latest industry trends/emerging tech and incorporate them into the platform development processParticipate in code review activities and share/receive constructive feedback to ensure code qualityTroubleshoot and resolve bugs tackle problems as and when they ariseConduct risk assessment identify and mitigate potential security risksShare knowledge and help build and maintain a modern web app engineering organizationFoster a culture of continuous improvement and advocate for best practices in security and software developmentJob Requirements:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Front-End DeveloperPrevious experience in developing customer-side features, with a focus on React and modern web development techniquesProficient with relevant technologies such as HTML, CSS, and TypeScriptDemonstrable experience with UX tools, design principles, and best practicesStrong understanding of using CI/CD pipeline methodologies and toolsUnderstanding of cybersecurity best practices with a keen interest in maintaining a secure web app environmentProven experience working with responsive design and developing mobile-first features/productsRelevant certifications in secure software development or cybersecurityVersatile portfolio showcasing UI development, UX design work, and CI/CD expertiseBackground in version control systems including Git and Agile development methodologiesAbility to quickly adapt to new technologies/trends eagerness to learnNice to possess an understanding of Web3 and blockchain technologiesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to effectively work in a remote team settingFluent in spoken and written English IT
