Job Description The Department of City and Regional Planning (CRP) under the College of Environmental Design (CED) at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is inviting applications for several faculty positions at all professorial ranks starting from the Fall (September) of 2019. The potential candidates must demonstrate their ability and desire for excellence in both teaching and research. During the time of application, the candidate must hold an earned Ph.D. degree in one of the following areas:. Urban and regional planning. Urban studies/development. Urban transportation planning. Urban geography. Urban environmental planning. International planning and development. Regional sciences. Computer Aided Planning (not only GIS). Urban DesignFor more information about the department, please visit: http://www.kfupm.edu.sa/crp Job Responsibility The candidates are expected to be available for professional duties for approximately 35-40 hours a week to carry out teaching (both undergraduate and graduate courses), research, academic advising, administrative and any other academic duties that will be assigned by the CRP department. Also, they are expected to develop funded research program pertaining to their field of specializations. The successful candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to quality education and student interaction. Compensation & Benefits . Two-year renewable contract..
