We have vacancy of 'Routine Maintenance Planning Engineer' Education requirements- Degree Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering. Total Experience:- 8-12 Years with Minimum 5 years of experience as a Planner in Routine Maintenance Planning role (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical or Refinery Plant experience preferred). Salary Budget: OMR 1500 to 1800/- per month. Other benefit: visa, ticket, medical, insurance, accommodation, food, transportation etc. Job Location: Duqum, Oman Contract Period: 01 years (renewable) on mutual agreement/job performance/work requirements. Language: Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required) Job Description- Job Objective- To Develop and monitor the planning of maintenance (Instrumentation) activities for Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Services. Executing Maintenance planning activities, Notifications/Defect/PM Plan analysis/Planning through CMMS (SAP) system & its follow- up, Prepare reports and feedback on regards maintenance activities. Compliance monitoring to implemented work management processes (KPI's, internal/ external audits recommendations); in order to ensure maximum availability of plant by optimization of cost & resource. Key Duties & Responsibilities- • Receive, review and analyses all maintenance work request order in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Conduct site visits & discuss with concerned work originators to estimate the exact scope of works for the planned maintenance activities. • Attends the regular planning & operation scheduling meetings and provide schedule reports. • Determines material & resources requirements (manpower, equipment, tools, and lifting equipment) and works sequences for Instrumentation maintenance jobs and create request for any additional required resources. • Update planned maintenance activities for instrumentation discipline in the system (SAP) and verification of all resources for maintenance jobs. • Assist in coordinating routine maintenance requirements including preparation of detailed specifications for contracting. • Ensure preparation of comprehensive, detailed and accurate scope of works for tendering so that clarifications and delays are avoided. • Prepare and develop the Schedule of Rates (SOR) for maintenance contracts. • Prepare cost estimation for maintenance contracts. • Prepare and develop the contracting strategy for floating the tender. • Verification of issued material against all the planned and ensures material reconciliation after maintenance close out. • Intimate for creation of new stock entries and follow up material requisitions with respective departments for all type of maintenance. • Review of job plans in SAP & participate in improvements based on the actual. • Prepare and release weekly & monthly maintenance plan in the system (SAP) • Annual maintenance budget preparation and actual expense monitoring against the budget. Key interactions • Internal: All Maintenance Managers, Engineers & Supervisors, Planners/Scheduler, Operations, Procurement, Logistic & HSSE • External: Contractors, Vendors & Suppliers Background and experience • Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) • Expertise in SAP- PM Module, SAP-MM Module & Primavera P6 / MS Project • Expertise in MS Excel, MS word and MS power point • Good experience in planning, scheduling of routine maintenance & shutdown related jobs. • Sound judgment in technical matters with good skills in engineering field materials specifications, Risk based work selection, Maintenance (Instrumentation) work processes, Field Maintenance and international standards. • Sound Knowledge of wiring diagrams, control panel, switch gear, control valves, PRVs, Transmitters, and other instruments. Maintenance Planning experience for Field Instrumentation. • Knowledge of Instrumentation tools, how and where they are used. • Sound knowledge of Functional Location Asset hierarchy, Asset Register. • Knowledge of reading and interpreting P&ID & PFD • Good knowledge in HSE / SCE equipment & plans. • knowledge in Maintenance budget planning, cost control & contract scope of work development, spares and consumables for maintenance. • Spares and consumables stocking, inventory, procurement for maintenance. • Experience in preparation of Maintenance planning reports. Competencies and skills: • Ability to perform as a team player. • Self-motivated and is required to have strong leadership skills. • Fully computer literate, valid driving license, good communicator and organizer. • Competent in computer applications for engineering.
