What This Job Involves

This is a paid internship for six months with the Workplace & Design team based in Dubai. The work will be involved in all aspects of services provided, with particular impact in the design area.

Working alongside the divisional management team, the role will be responsible for:

Understanding client brief to materialize into concept

Being able to put together finishes board & responsible for product sourcing

Producing "sample" and "mood products"

Graphic design

Site visits and construction supervision

Working closely with designers on all aspects and stages of design

Researching and following industry changes, evolutions and best practices

Spatial planning

Desired Skills And Experience For This Job

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, InDesign, Photoshop, BIM

Creative portfolio already in development.

Natural creative talent, broad imagination, and an eye for design

Other Competencies:

Willingness to take on new challenges

Efficiently use words to communicate complex ideas

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, preferably also in Arabic (selection criteria will first and foremost depend on caliber and profile rather than language skills)

Be capable of managing stress & accepting constructive feedback Organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks

Ability to work to meet deadlines, even when timeframes are demanding

Flexible attitude, team player but also able to work independently

Qualifications:

Graduate in Interior Design or Architecture
