Details Manufacturing Job Function: Quality Assurance Job Level: Associate Job Status: Full Time Location: Academic Degree: Certificates and Diploma Experience: 3-4 Years As per industry standards Skills: Quality Control,Mechanical Engineer,Manufacturing Job DescriptionA leading manufacturer of CNC machinery is looking for a Quality Control Engineer for their Machine Shop in in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates:Responsibilities and Duties:- Visually and dimensionally inspecting the incoming raw materials;- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of the welded parts for its completeness as per the drawing and sign approvals for next machining process;- Perform inspection for the machined parts using precision measuring instruments referring the given detail drawing and signing off the approval notes for further processing;- Performing visual inspection of parts that have completed the painting stage to ensure the right surfaces are painted maintaining the set standards;- Measure the first piece machined on a setup fixture and provide approval to continue the batch production;- Performing random inspection for the completed batch produced parts and maintaining the reports for the same;- Conduct part setup inspection on the work centers loaded with large frames to assure right tolerance are attained as specified on the given drawing;- Perform inspection of every large frame parts produced and maintain proper reports, with machine specific numbers for use in assembly stage as well as for future reference;- Conduct timely inspection for the mother machines and maintain them in the said accuracy to have evenness in the machined parts;- Co-ordinate with the machine shop supervisor/programmer suggest corrective action if variances are noted In the machined part.Qualifications and Requirements:- Minimum three years experience in a similar position;- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering;- Experience in manufacturing, engineering and production, and should have a strongtechnical background;- Ability to read and understand the machine part drawings and assembly drawings inaccordance to the specified geometric and dimensional tolerances;- Sound knowledge of handling precision measuring instruments;- Proficient in MS Office;- Candidates with previous exposure on CNC machine tool industry will have addedadvantage;- Working knowledge in operation of laser interferometer (e.g. Renishaw XL-80), lasertracker with probe (Faro, Leica, API etc.), laser measurement and alignment systems(e.g. Damalini Easy-Laser) as well as Renishaw ballbar test is a plus;- ISO 9001 experience is an added advantage;- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels in the organization;- Fluent in oral and written English;- UAE driving license is a plus.Conditions:- Competitive package based on qualifications and experience;- Accommodation provided;- Visa provided;- Medical insurance provided;- 30 days paid annual leave;- 48 hours per week;- 6 days per week;- Location Hamriyah Freezone Sharjah.If the position is of interest, please send your CV and a brief cover letter in English on the application form.Please specify possible time for commencing work and expected remuneration.All applications and documents will be treated with strict confidentiality.
