The role will entail working alongside a friendly team of experienced researchers to develop Text Summarization techniques and deploy them to our online video conference product.
Responsibilities :
- Research, propose, and execute next-generation model architectures
- Prototype new techniques, compare results, and work with ML Engineering team
- Research and develop state of the art ML Models
- Work closely with the ML Engineering team in influencing the roadmap and execution
- Propose and implement metrics to measure the model performance
- Work with the customers and product manager to understand the pain points and iterate
Key Qualifications
- Ability to lead research to improve machine-learning algorithms which understand text, audio, speech, and other modalities
- Publications in top ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) or application specific conferences (EMNLP, InterSpeech, ICASSP, and ACL)
- Experience holding an academic, industry, or government research scientist position
- Ph.D. from top tier university in machine learning or related field (AI, computer science).
- Experience leading a project to solve complex modelling problems with machine learning
- Highly experienced in theoretical and empirical research for addressing research problems
- Experienced with basic software development (C++, Python, etc)
