About the job

The Chief Marketing Officer drives the product and market strategy and is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of Httpool's marketing and advertising initiatives. The primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing for the entire organization. The CMO is the keeper of the brand and expected to build and drive all branding efforts. This role oversees all functions within the Marketing Team – Digital, Content, PR/Communications and, Product Marketing.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Set the global marketing strategy and relevant goals and objectives that contribute directly to the overall growth of the company.
  • Lead a globally distributed marketing team to success.
  • Determine KPIs for the Marketing Department, regularly tracking and reporting on progress against these KPIs.
  • Oversee Product Marketing- (GTM, product adoption, market feedback to have input for the roadmap and beyond).
  • Participate in the company’s Product & Sales strategy, contributing Market vision and opportunity.
  • Ensure the organization's message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences in order to meet sales objectives.
  • Drive marketing initiatives that have demonstrable ROI for the business and help build the brand.
  • Act as a key partner at the service of our sales strategy, able to prove how each marketing initiative drives a clear ROI (lead generation).
  • Oversee sales/organization enablement, creating and delivering the materials and training to ensure the organisation is effectively delivering on our pitch and vision.
  • Bring into the company a clear market analysis and insights to understand where we can achieve competitive advantage.
  • Have a good understanding of what happens on the ground to ensure optimal impact of our positioning.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices to help influence company strategy.
  • Design, plan and oversee the execution of effective marketing campaigns & content marketing.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a marketing leadership role, ideally with a global tech company.
  • You have worked in the ad-tech space.
  • Start-up experience in preferred.
  • You are an inspirational leader and are able to create a strong vision for Marketing at Httpool, growing and empowering the team to achieve that vision.
  • Solid strategic skills –you are able to effectively craft solid plans and strategies to build our external brand, reflective of the targeting, segmentation, and value proposition of the business.
  • Analytical – you use data to formulate evidence-based decisions.
