Dean Supply Company is pleased to announce this opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative. We are looking for 1 or 2 individuals to connect, expand and build relationships in Cleveland's culturally diverse restaurant community. Outside sales experience is essential; a restaurant background is ideal to hit the ground running. Bi-lingual or multi-lingual a plus.Position Summary: Our outside sales reps are the face of Dean Supply. You will be developing new business, and maximizing existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth and objectives. The successful candidate will be confident with cold calls in person, be informed of market conditions, prices, products, and competitive advantages, and be able to articulate product innovations and sales as part of value-added services provided.This position will be paid a $700 weekly salary during training, then draw against commission. Our average rep on commission earns at least $60k their first year. Go-getters and established reps earn six-figure incomes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Develop new and existing customer relationship, including cold calls· Promptly answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses. Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.· Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, company meetings, etc.· Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client· Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department; troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process· Collaborate with buyers to help them make informed stocking decisions· Participate in company functions, promotions, customer visits, customer events, and general meetings.Experience and Qualifications: · 3-5 years of outside business-to-business sales experience· Friendly, engaging personality with excellent communication skills· Good PC computer skills required· Some restaurant industry experience strongly preferred· Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insuranceCompensation and Benefits: · $700/week salary during training, then draw against commission· Group medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage; life and disability· 401 (k) Retirement Plan w company match· Store discountsDean Supply is Cleveland's premier foodservice supply store for all restaurant, party, kitchen and bar supplies.
