Position Summary:

This position leads this very important department of Avidyne that is responsible for recruiting individuals that are the best talent and fit for this entrepreneurial company and providing a benefits package and employee relations programs that create a desirable and productive work environment. We are looking for someone that is a strategic thinker, can establish and manage priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and effectively manages the HR team to accomplish corporate objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the executive team to help set and accomplish corporate objectives
  • Attract and recruit candidates that meet designated skill requirements and fit with the company culture
  • Develop programs and train and support management in maintaining positive employee relations
  • Develop, communicate and support a benefits package that is tailored to employee needs and balances with corporate objectives; oversee wellness programs and identify opportunities to reduce health care costs
  • Process payroll accurately and timely, and provide related reports to management
  • Work with the senior executive team to establish and implement compensation, rewards and recognition programs; participate in salary planning and award recommendations
  • Perform comparative compensation market analysis as needed for offer development and compensation considerations
  • Support training programs required to maintain safety, FAA, AS9100 and company certifications
  • Administer the Company?s FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Program
  • Establish employee policies & practices that comply with laws and best practices
  • Manage leave administration to comply with federal and state laws
  • Timely federal and state compliance reporting
  • 401K Plan administration including plan document management, employee change updates, audit and participation on investment committee
  • Ensure synergy in culture, practice and programs among all Avidyne locations
  • Support management in addressing day-to-day organizational and employee issues

Requirements: The candidate must be a seasoned HR professional with strong leadership and management experience and demonstrable experience in managing and executing day-to-day operations of all aspects of Human Resources, ideally within a high-tech, manufacturing company.

Superior problem-solving, conflict resolution skills are essential. Highly visible, this position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels and functional areas.

In addition, successful high-volume (ideally technical) recruiting experience is critical in this environment, along with extensive knowledge and experience in creating and implementing progressive programs within all aspects of the HR discipline.

The candidate must have experience in managing HR in a multi-location company and be skilled in corporate communications that foster a unified corporate culture.

BA in Human Resources or related discipline is required, MA preferred.

SPHR Certification required.

A minimum of 7 years human resource management experience in progressively responsible positions required.

Experience with ADP, Paychex, Ascentis, or other payroll systems is desirable.

Travel: No travel is expected but is possible.
