Did you know that over 26,000 of our most frail and elderly loved ones are isolated in nursing homes across Oklahoma where their opportunities to participate in routine worship services are limited and, in some cases, restricted? The reality, this number is anticipated to continue to grow due to an aging population, thus escalating this spiritual void.Sadly 25-35% of these patients do not have a family member or a friend capable of interacting with them routinely, leading to depression from lack of socialization due to endemic isolation. Currently there are over 26,000 frail and elderly patients in nursing homes throughout Oklahoma.COVID-19 accentuated- highlighted their isolation. We know for certain, the problem existed long before COVID-19. We also know It will likely continue. These seniors deserve better. God’s plan for our seniors is better but families fall apart move away and the reality falls way short of the idea.Sunshine Care Prayer Partners is dedicated to changing this ugly isolation factor that is a present reality for our OK seniors.Would you like to make a difference in the lives of these seniors? Do you have 5-10 minutes to place a call to a loved one? What we are needing is a team of volunteers lead to make a difference by calling these loved ones to pray with them or to read scripture to them thus spiritually enriching their lives and fulfilling a social void. These loved ones need a few minutes of your day to lift them spiritually. For additional information or to join our volunteer team please visit our website at https://www.sunshinecarepartners.com/prayer-partner-program.html, or contact us via e-mail or by calling 405-664-5779.Below you will find a link to a You Tube Video announcing a Telethon for Sunshine Care Prayer Partners to be held on Sunday, June 21, 2020 from 8AM-10AM on KRMG-FM 102.3.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvzYZ3Md2_4God Bless YouJob Type: TemporaryPay: $0.00 per hourSchedule:
