JOB SUMMARY
Manages the development and implementation of promotional plans, advertising and marketing programs to generate sales, revenue and market exposure. Manages marketing and advertising strategies and projects to achieve sales and marketing objectives. Develops marketing tools such as brochures, video, presentations, promotional materials, direct mail and tradeshow graphics for sales and convention services. Partners with external advertising agencies to develop the media plan and execute associated projects. Serves as the primary liaison between operational management and the marketing team for assigned projects and marketing. Verifies that revenue opportunities are maximized. Administers and manages annual budgets for assigned products. Manages production work for assigned projects to obtain marketing and revenue goals.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related major; 3 years' experience in Marketing or a comparable professional area.
OR
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related major; 1 year experience in Marketing or a comparable professional area.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Conducting Marketing Activities to Achieve Departmental Goals
  • Manages marketing and advertising strategies and projects to achieve sales and marketing objectives.
  • Develops marketing tools such as brochures, video, presentations, promotional materials, direct mail and tradeshow graphics for sales and convention services.
  • Partners with external advertising agencies to develop the media plan and execute associated projects.
  • Develops and negotiates partnerships for broadcast promotions.
  • Develops and markets promotional events.
Building and Maintaining Relationships
  • Partners with external advertising agencies to develop the media plan and execute associated projects.
  • Develops and negotiates partnerships for broadcast promotions.
  • Assists the Public Relations Manager with the development of press kits and composition of press release.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between operational management and the marketing team for assigned projects and marketing.
Maximizing Revenue
  • Verifies that revenue opportunities are maximized.
  • Administers and manages annual budgets for assigned products.
  • Manages production work for assigned projects to obtain marketing and revenue goals.
