Training and Development Manager

Job Purpose

  • Manage the local training and competency team in line with company policies and procedures
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and ensure their expectations are met
  • Provide training and competency support and advice to local management team
  • Implement the company's training and competency tools and systems across the operation
  • Design any deliver additional local training as required
  • Coach and develop training and competency personnel in country


  • Essential - Diploma; Fluent written and spoken English
  • Preferred - Bachelor Degree Qualified; Professional Training Qualification



  • Minimum 5 years of directly related work experience preferably with at least 2 years in a management role
  • Leading a team
  • Worked in similar industrial training environment
  • Knowledge and practice of competency management systems


  • Experience of training and competency management within oil and gas sector
