Regional Marketing Manager

Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for the regions which will support delivery of Etihad's business objectives focusing on key target audiences identified by customer segmentation analysis.
Prepare detailed marketing plans for all markets in close cooperation with sales management, which integrate with the commercial imperatives for the region, with fully budgeted programmes.
Work with Head of Field Marketing and external agencies to deliver effectively targeted communications activities which support marketing objectives.
Supervise the development of local marketing partnerships with premium brands.
Integrate successfully with, and support, the 'channel shift' to drive online sales: working with Direct Sales and Digital/Social Marketing.
Supervise the development of Trade and Corporate programmes in the region.
Create initiatives which help stretch marketing funds and improve marketing ROI.
Liaise with Sponsorship department on all local & regional sponsorship activation programmes and provide relevant support.
Manage regional marketing budget with Head of Field Marketing and supervise evaluation and accurate reporting of ROI for each campaign.
Acquire and interpret market intelligence data for each market which helps further develop understanding of consumer and trade audiences and competitor activity.
Manage and develop the team to source and cultivate talents in order to improve overall department performance.
Policies and Procedures - Follow all relevant policies, processes and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Day-to-Day Operations - Supervise standard and complex day-to-day operations to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and in compliance with established standards and procedures
Safety, Quality & Environment - Comply with all relevant safety, security, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management (specialization in Marketing would be a distinct advantage)
Between 8-10 years in marketing, of which 5 is in a senior marketing role in a marketing-centric company ideally with airline industry background, if not at least with travel industry
Bilingual in English and Arabic
Knowledge of the UAE Market is essential
Marketing Planning or communications experience would be desirable
International experience is essential, especially with a track record of having delivered effective marketing campaigns across regions
Excellent creative writing and presentation skills
Knowledgeable in data mining & analysis
