R&D Hardware Engineering Intern – Analog/Digital (EE)
You will be assigned an insightful mentor, who will guide you through your project and work term for a successful project experience.
As an Intern, you will enjoy the unique opportunity to be exposed to many aspects of the product development cycle, including research, design, prototyping, development, testing, sustaining and manufacturing.
For digital hardware design:
Proficiency designing with synchronous elements, including flip-flops, timing diagrams, and state machines
Digital circuit design, simulation and validation with understanding of transmission lines and signal integrity
For analog hardware design:
Proficiency designing with operational amplifiers, filters, ADC/DAC and transistors
Analog circuit, power supply and control systems design and troubleshooting
R&D Software Engineering Intern (EE)
As an Intern, you will enjoy the unique opportunity to be exposed to many aspects of the product development.
Software development project opportunities include device drivers (Windows & Linux), development tools, embedded and real-time systems, BIOS and firmware, bus and network interfaces, and graphical user interfaces.
Strong understanding of computers and high-level programming languages (C/C++)

Computer system architecture and organization o Data structures
R&D Test Development Engineering Intern (EE)
As an Intern, you will enjoy the unique opportunity to be involved in different aspects of product testing. Test Engineers have the opportunity to develop and implement automated test platforms, integrating both hardware and software, which are consistent with a high mix, low volume, high tech and high quality operation.
You will learn the following concepts and principles:
Sources of measurement error
Appropriate selection of instrumentation
Statistical analysis of data
Software design and architecture
Integration of hardware and software
R&D RF Sustaining Engineering Intern (EE)
Analyze and resolve design failures observed in RF manufacturing with robust solutions. Solutions may range from test methodology to hardware and components improvement
Provide debug tool (LabVIEW tool) to Production’s Failure Analysis Engineer and debug technicians to recover failures in Production
Decent exposure to handling RF CAD tools (AWR) and SPICE in analyzing design failures
Handle other sustaining projects such as replacing End of Life components and cost savings
Job expectation:
Expected to work closely with Production and spend 70% - 80% time in Production to work on hardcore failures
Work with technical leads in Penang and Austin to brainstorm ideas and fix design issues. Flexible in communication hours with Austin (US time zone) when necessary
Manufacturing Test Engineering Intern (EE)
As a Manufacturing Test Engineering Intern, you will enjoy the unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of product testing during test station deployment in manufacturing.
You will have the opportunity to undergo technical training on NI software and hardware platform. Using the knowledge and skills acquired, you are equipped to perform integration, verification, and validation of test stations.
You will gain experience and understanding of the following concepts and principles:
Digital, Analog, and RF test methodology
System integration and troubleshooting
Sources of measurement error
Appropriate selection of instrumentation
Statistical analysis of data Throughout the internship, you will be assigned an experienced mentor who will guide and lead you through challenging projects and tasks, requiring you to take ownership and responsibility in your assignment and learning.
